I rented a chalet up at Lake Superior this summer. Ate out one night at the Strang at Lutsen Resort. Expensive but oh my, so good. Way and above my expectations. Our server, Paul, was very friendly and accommodating. Ordered the porterhouse steak, coho salmon, pork chop, and smoked goose chowder. All five star eats. It took about an hour for them to get it done so Paul offered free desserts of our choice. We had the six layer chocolate cake, maple creme brulee, and salted carmel cheesecake, all fabulous and well done. I didn't enjoy the locally crafted IPA beer which came off fruity so I asked our waiter to replace it and he did so without charging extra.

Lake Superior makes for an awesome vacation (chelt, cabin, camping, what-have-you) and no, expensive eats are not necessary. We were celebrating a birthday.
Enjoy the pics. Love Superior.

We stayed at Lutsen Sea Villas. https://odysseyresorts.com/lutsen-sea-villas/

I went camping on the Northshore a few years ago. Love the vibe. So relaxing and so quiet. Think I read three novels during my two week stay. Couldn't have done it without my Jakey.
